Bernd Geigenmüller, a trained forestry worker, laid the foundation for today's company 'BG Maschinenservice Bernd Geigenmüller' in April 1991 by founding the forestry service company 'Harvester Service Bernd Geigenmüller'.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Bernd Geigenmüller was able to purchase his first forestry machine, the 'Mini Bruunett 678' forwarder from 'FMG'. Orders in Germany, Switzerland and Sweden allowed the company to grow steadily - employees were hired and the fleet was expanded. The first forwarder was followed by three more and two harvesters from 'GREMO AB'. From 2000 onwards, orders shifted more and more to our region.

A new chapter was opened in 2005 with the acquisition of property in Reinholdshain near Dippoldiswalde. The shell of the hall on it was expanded into today's workshop hall. The times of repairs and service work on the forestry machines in the 'house and farm garage' came to an end. From then on, the service area was expanded and expanded to include the 'spare parts trade' division. The good contacts in Sweden were used here. The company maintained trade relations there from the beginning. There has been a collaboration with the company 'GREMO AB' since 2000, which was consolidated in 2007 with a service contract for repairs and the distribution of spare parts.

Another milestone in the company's history was the official start of the company 'BG Maschinenservice Bernd Geigenmüller' on January 1st, 2011.

The office building extension in 2010 made it possible to set up a spare parts warehouse for `GREMO AB` from 2014. From this point on, our company was the sole partner of `GREMO AB` for the spare parts trade in Germany. In 2019, a storage lift (`Modula`) was installed and equipped with `GREMO`-ET. Until May 2021, we purchased the `GREMO`-ET from the subsidiary `GMS AB` in Sweden.

The merger of the companies `GREMO AB` and `EcoLog` in 2020 brought about a profound change in the cooperation with `GREMO AB`. In 2021, our company became a cooperation partner of the company `WFW Waldburg Forstmaschinen Wolfegg`. However, this cooperation was terminated by mutual agreement at the end of 2021.

We continue to carry out service, maintenance and repairs of 'GREMO' forestry machines, combined with the distribution of 'GREMO' spare parts.

Despite the restructuring, the existing contacts - such as with the company 'SP Maskiner AB', a manufacturer of harvester aggregates - and the new contacts as well as our trading relationships with Sweden will continue to be continuously maintained and expanded.

A new chapter has been written since 2021. The cooperation with the company `KOPA Forstmaschinen- Handels- und Reparatur GmbH` in Kuddewörde began. New is the sale, repair and spare parts service of forestry machines of the brand `Rottne` from the company `Rottne Industri AB`.

The 'Rottne' forestry machines convinced us. We speak from experience, as the 'Rottne' H21D harvester accompanied us for two years. The quality, comfort and quantity of wood production speak for themselves.
